The acute toxicity of the test substance to Daphnia magna was tested in a static test system performed according to OECD guideline 202. At test termination after 24 hours an EC50 of 15.3 mg/L (nominal) was determined (Ciba-Geigy, 1983c). However, emulsifiers in concentration above 100 mg/L have been used.
