According to the literature review, the test item is classified as follow:
- EIGA: Skin corrosion 1B, H314.
- SDS: Skin corrosion 1B. At high concentration, severe skin burning can be expected.
- ECHA: according to the notified classifications, out of 194 studies, 193 classified the test item as skin corrosion 1.
- Chiavalori: according to Order of 20 April 1994, nitrogen dioxide is classified as corrosive.
