Results and discussion
Any other information on results incl. tables
Measurements that were conducted in the silica-producing or processing industry (Germany) during 1984 and 1986 resulted in average values of 2.2 and 4.4 mg/m3 of inhalable dust, the values of respirable dust during simultaneous determination (27 measurements) ranged between 0.7 and 1.7 mg/m3.
During industrial processing of amorphous silicas in various companies in the 1980th (Germany), concentrations of respirable dust ranged from 0.04 to 1.9 mg/m3 with an average of 0.46 mg/m3 (56 measurements). These findings included general dust that may have been unrelated to the specific process.
