REACH

New version of REACH-IT launched

The new version of REACH-IT is simpler to use and has been adapted to the IUCLID 6 format. From now on, you can only submit dossiers created with IUCLID 6. The new version aims to help small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) registering their chemicals for the last REACH registration deadline of 31 May 2018. The support material can be accessed within the tool itself allowing you to get targeted help while using the tool.

ECHA has published a corrigendum to the Guidance for identification and naming of substances under REACH and CLP (version 1.4). The corrigendum is limited to the deletion of the chapter providing technical instruction based on the outdated version of IUCLID and the reformatting of the document according to the current corporate identity.

The same guidance is now undergoing a further limited update to include a new appendix on the Substance Identity Profile (SIP). A draft of this new appendix has been sent to the Partner Expert Group (PEG) for consultation and will soon be published on ECHA's website.
