Update to the list of substances potentially subject for compliance checks

ECHA has updated the list of substances that might be chosen for compliance checks. The list includes 14 new substances. Registrants are advised to check this list and if needed, update their related registration dossiers by 14 November 2016.

Since January 2015, ECHA publishes a list of substances for which a compliance check would most likely be conducted. This gives the registrants the possibility for early dossier updates before the compliance check starts. However, the list is indicative and non-exhaustive: ECHA reserves the right to open further compliance checks on any dossier at any time and without prior notice to the registrants.

Update to the leaflet for exporters to the EU

A revised version of the leaflet, first published in May 2016, is available online. We have sharpened the section about only representatives and made the reference to “Europe” more focused by using “the European Union”.

If you wish to print this leaflet for your own use, you can ask for the print-ready file from ECHA by email (reach-2018@echa.europa.eu)

The meeting will focus - along with its normal business - on the key findings and recommendations of the CSR/ES Roadmap evaluation. It will seek a common understanding and agreed way forward to ensure that the tools and methods developed will be implemented by industry.
