Last days for subscribing to the seminar on applications for authorisation from 11 to 12 February 2013!

You have untill Friday 11 January to apply for the seminar on applications for authorisation taking place from 11 to 12 February 2013 in Helsinki. The aim is to raise the overall understanding of the authorisation application procedure through presentations, discussions and feedback from industry. Due to space constraints, participants will be selected through an application process which opened on 10 December 2012. Priority will be given to future applicants not having had a chance to participate in the seminar held in October 2012. A similar seminar is also planned for June 2013.

ECHA 8th Stakeholders' Day Register now for the Eighth Stakeholders' Day!

ECHA's Eighth Stakeholders' Day conference will take place on 26 March in Helsinki. The event page and registration form have been published. A preliminary draft programme will be available shortly. The conference offers participants a chance to hear the latest news and updates from ECHA, European industry associations and the NGOs. The event takes place close to the second REACH registration deadline of 31 May 2013, providing a platform for registrants, in particular those preparing individual submissions to receive last minute advice and guidance. Participation to the conference is free of charge.

ECHA Biocides Stakeholders' Day

The Biocides Stakeholders' Day

The European Chemicals Agency organises its first Biocides Stakeholders' Day on 25 June 2013 in Helsinki in preparation for the application date of the Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR) on 1 September 2013. The event aims to engage key biocides stakeholders with information about the new regulation to ensure that companies are aware of their roles and available tools and resources, and to assist them in meeting their obligations.

The day is open to all. The content will be of particular relevance to European and national trade associations, SMEs, large companies, alternative suppliers and environmental as well as health NGOs. ECHA has announced the initial topics and dates for webinars taking place in 2013. The new webinars include a last minute webinar on submission for lead registrants, how to prepare and submit the member dossier for member registrants, a webinar on how to bring your registration dossier in compliance with REACH and how and when downstream users need to report to ECHA. You can find a full list of upcoming webinars in the webinar section of the ECHA website.
