Only two weeks until the Second Lead Registrant Workshop
The second workshop for Lead Registrants takes place from 11 to 12 October 2012 in ECHA's conference centre in Helsinki. The event will be webstreamed live and a video recording of the workshop presentations will be published on the ECHA website shortly after the event. A link to the webstream will be published in next week's e-News. |

PRESS RELEASES New public consultation on a CLH proposal for a pesticide 25 September 2012
ECHA invites the parties concerned to comment on a new proposal for harmonised classification and labelling (CLH) for spirotetramat, a pesticide widely used in agriculture. The public consultation opens for 45 days and will end on 9 November 2012. The CLH report and the dedicated webform to post the comments are available on the ECHA website. |

NEWS ALERTS Two-week interruption of the inquiry process in November 25 September 2012
The new version of REACH-IT to be launched in November will have a major improvement for potential registrants that submit an inquiry before being able to register. ECHA wishes to inform companies that, in order to permit the change-over, inquiries will not be processed two weeks ahead of the release.
