October issue of ECHA Newsletter published
The October issue of ECHA Newsletter reports back from the September REACH conference highlighting the participants' reflections of the event.You can read about the experiences some of our stakeholders have had with REACH so far, how the inquiry process facilitates data sharing, and how the REACH Information Portal for Enforcement (RIPE) has kicked off.You will also find out about ECHA's new policy for managing conflicts of interest which will further strengthen our commitment for independent decision making and transparency.

Draft plan for first substance evaluation submitted to the Member States
ECHA has today submitted the first draft Community rolling action plan (CoRAP) to the Member States. The draft plan contains 91 substances that are proposed for review by the Member States under the substance evaluation process of the REACH Regulation. These substances are divided for evaluation during the years 2012, 2013 and 2014. ECHA publishes also a public version of the draft plan including the non-confidential substance names, CAS- and EC-numbers, and the tentative year of evaluation.
